Prof. Piyusha Majumdar has a Ph.D. and Masters in Anthropology from the Department of Anthropology, University of Delhi. She is an alumnus of Miranda House College, working as an Associate Professor at SDG School of Public Health, IIHMR University, Jaipur. She is a public health Specialist and implementation Researcher. Participated in a multi-country research project “STRIPE – Synthesis and Translation of Research and Innovation in Polio Eradication” towards developing the global curriculum “Implementation Science of Global health” in consortium with Johns Hopkins Bloomberg school of public health and other consortium partners from seven countries. Some of the prestigious international projects were awarded by UNICEF, World Lung Foundation, Institute of Health Metrics & Evaluation, USA and International Union against TB & Lung Diseases. As a faculty at IIHMR, she has been vigorously involved in guiding, mentoring and teaching MBA students. She has plethora of publications for national and international journals. She is also an Editorial Board member for Academic Journal of Anthropological Studies and Review Editor for Frontiers in Tropical Diseases, Health Policy and Planning and Asia Pacific Journal of Health Management
